BLEAH!!! <<shudder>>
Er... ahh... I mean... :-)
Anyone have any idea what it is about iceberg lettuce *specifically* that can make one physically ill? I can eat romaine, butter, red, leafy, curly, even spinach till the cows come home (and enjoy it a great deal). One bite of iceberg and I'm queasy for hours.
Any clues? People always look at me funny when I ask them what KIND of lettuce they're using, "as if it matters," and I have to explain every time... it'd be neat to have a better reply than, "I don't like it and it doesn't like me."
