Have you tried the SCA web page?  It's www.sca.org
There's a section that talks about the groups by area and has links to 
their homepages if applicable.  You would probably at least be able to 
find the phone number for the seneschal of the group nearest you.

Where can I find out info on the SCA groups around here?  Midlands. I had a
