With deep apologies for potentially steping on the listowners toes; I did 
what I felt was called for, and I'm well aware how thin the ethical ice 
under my feet are.

I did something: I spoofed an unsubscribe from the offending address. 
Depending on what safeguards are built into majordomo (canna remember at
the moment) it *should* work.
