Spoken like a true formerly Easterner. *Not everyone goes to Pennsic!*
Not even everyone from the East! It seems we have more people on this
list from west of the Mississippi than from East of it. If something like
this were to take place, it should be nearer the center of the Known
World. Maybe Lillies? Not that I'd be able to make it. But then, I
haven't been to Pennsic in years, either!

Why not do one at every one of the wars? Estrella, Gulf, Lillies,
Pennsic. I know there are others. Make it an ongoing thing. Those who
really travel could do several a year! The event announcements could list
"Estrella SCA-Cooks" dinner, "Gulf SCA-Cooks" dinner, etc. in the
schedule. Heck, make it a war point! Which army could eat the most food?
Identify the most dishes? Name the most ingredients?

Julleran, who's in the middle of planning three events, getting a
newsletter out to all the Kingdom's MoCs, and dealing with a crises in my
son's PTO and doesn't even want to *think* about Pennsic!
