SC - chestnuts

This talk of chestnuts makes me hungry to try some, now that someone has
posted their recipe for roasting them. I remember them being mentioned
in some christmas carols or stories. But, down here in Texas, they are 
not a nut that I've seen in the grocery store. Perhaps they don't ship
well?

Does anyone know where I might find them locally or know if I can order
them by mail order? Or since, I should have several buckets of thin-shell
pecans later in the fall, perhaps someone would like to swap some pecans
for some chestnuts?
