I guess this comes under the heading of learning by the "sink-or-swim"
method, where you just leap in and do it, as opposed to a formal
preliminary session of "how-to-do-it". Some people like it. I probably
wouldn't have chosen this recipe for that purpose, perhaps, but if it
seems to work for you, I'm glad.

Yup! And, that to presume to speak for others is sometimes an act of
great discourtesy. Having spent plenty of time on this list as a
discussion criminal, I'm not yet ready to become a discusson policeman.
Occasionally the volume of mail is so great that I am forced to delete
messages according to their subject line only. I'm sure I miss more good
stuff that way, but sometimes a man's gotta do whut a man's gotta do.
