Oooohhh, I LOVE little church cookbooks!  And Grange cookbooks too... wonderful things.  The obligatory recipes for "scripture cake" and "friendship cake" in each one.  'Leventy-seven recipes for pickles "that won a blue ribbon at County Fair three years running..."  Such fun!

(To confess, a lot of my recipes that people rave over came from one or another of those little fundraiser cookbooks... )

Just another one of my little secret passions... <g>
