What kind of potato salad was inedible?  Eastern potato salad where
thepotatoes are chunky?  Okie potato salad where the taters are mashed?Cold
German mustard potato salad?  Hot German potato salad?  Or didsomeone try to
feed you a tossed salad of tater <snip>

I was just going to ask if you had ever had German Potato salad, the "sauce"
is I think mustard/vinegar based, a pinch of sugar and some chopped up bacon. 
*totally* different than the mayonaise stuff.
