Greetings to you, Caointiarn,

I once had an oven that cooked the sides of things too quickly.  I tore
some strips of terry towel from an old towel, dampened them thoroughly,
then tied them around the sides of the pan with string.  Stay in the
kitchen if you do this.  If you smell baked towel, pull the whole thing
out, fast!  I never had a problem with it, but don't take chances.  You
could also try baking with the oven 25* lower, and let it stay in a
little longer.
