SC - bird or bay?

gentle friends,

perhaps it is a kingdom by kingdom thing.  "growing up" in the west, we
didn't even -have- feasts!  later in the east and atlantia i saw and was
inspired by the magnificent feasts and research of jaelle of armida, igor
bear, and melisande de belvoir - all of whom received laurels for their
cooking.  now in the outlands - well, i'm not sure.  there are some
excellent cooks and some excellent research, but it doesn't seem to be
taken very seriously.
