SC - OT: Slugs!

ok... bad cinema time...  (be warned...spoilers ahead)















there was this wonderfully horrible movie called "Slugs!". It was (sure
enough) about slugs, overgrown carniverous slugs that is... (actually
probably omniverous)

one was in a cabbage and got cut up in a salad (looked like olive
slices) anyway, the giant omniverous slugs had giant parasites which 
then went rampant inside the consumers of said salad.


while the whole movie was rather silly, perhaps there is a modicum of
truth there, in so much that there might be parasites which cross the
species boundry.  mind you, most should be killed with cooking.... but
it's not like i have *ANY* scientific facts to back me up here.. just
a wonderfully nasty movie.

i don't think i'd eat them... they like american lagers.. :)
now perhaps some good Belgian ale loving slugs... ;)
