Say what? Queen's Anne Lace is the wild carrot. If you take the seed palntit,
grow it, dig it up and pick put the biggest roots, replant it, plant thenext
years seed  and repeat the process for at least 3-5 years you will havein your
garden a 'period' white or red carrot. :-)

oh, cool!Being a "root vegetable" it takes to transplanting okay? (your
postsare still coming in in duplicates by the way m'lord, so I am doubly
corrected ;) )  I wonder what I am thinking of?  Something that looks like
Queen Ann's Lace is poisonous- but come to think of it, it is probably native
californian and therefore no concern to any of us anyway.
