SC - Commemorative Cooking

Okay, okay!!  No offense, intended, but how many of you cooks court there have ever held a feast because court was running late.  

Court Chicken:

Take a chicken and cook it in a wine (whine) sauce.  Decorate extensively, add lots of other items that are probably not going to be eaten and definitely won't be remembered the next day.  Let it cook until the desired tenderness, right at the point that everyone's mouth will be watering and stomach's will be growling.... then sit on a stool and wait, and wait, and wait...... stirring occasionally, then get up and go listen in the doorway, then go back and stir again......  finally when everyone is ready to eat, your chicken will be falling off the bones with exhaustion and you will be ready to pull your hair out in frustration!
