In a message dated 97-09-14 18:31:50 EDT, you write:

<< You say you make a heavenly potato salad, but throw up
 when you smell it? >>

Smelling it=dry heaves. Tasting=wretching. :-0 But it really is quite good so
I'm told. Master Adamtius has sent me privately a possible course of action
to try and find out why this happens. Am condductiong the first part of the
experiment tomorrow ( Monday). Wish me luck!. :-)

<<Not just plain curiosity--I'm soon to live close
enough to you to cook a feast you might attend, and I don't want to cook
anything that would set off allergies--not potatoes, of course, but
whatever...have enough allergy problems of my own; won't make others
 suffer!

Thank-you for your concern but the ONLY pin-pointed foodd allergy I have is
Blue Crabs. They give me hives. I love them tho' so at least once a year I
tolerate the hives. There is nothing else that you can serve me that would
cause an allergic reaction although as I stated before half-cooked onions
give me the same physical responces as potato salad. So cook away! :-)
