Baric Firehand is an 11th century half Celt/half Dane, who left Ireland
as a matter of discretion (a small dispute whose deceased had a large
clan) after Clontarf.  He has been a wanderer, mercenary, trader and
rogue in his twenty odd years of travels.  He was last in service to
Baroness Gwyneth of Ramsey Mere as the cook for 20th Namron
Protectorate.

Terry Decker is the lead MVS system programmer for the Oklahoma State
Department of Health, is on an accelerated learning curve as a Unix
system administrator, and has been handed responsibility for database
administration on Datacom DB and Oracle.  He is 1) an idiot and 2) a
glutton for punishment.

In previous incarnations, he has been a professional photographer,
foreman in a crating company, and pump jockey when full service service
stations were the norm.  He became a serious cook at age 14 when he
worked as the staff cook for a Boy Scout camp in Germany (he was also
the dishwasher and the swamper).
