Lady Deirdru stated that different people respond differently to
different drugs -- one has to know/remember that there are umpty
varieties of migraine... combinations of symptoms and effects appear to
be endless, that all fall under the generic heading of "migraine". This
explains why one person's miracle cure may not touch another's symptoms,
or only partially.

| I have. Couldn't get it fresh at the time, so I tried making a tea of
it.
| Talk about bitter! It was the bitterest thing I had ever had (maybe
that's
| why they recommend putting a couple of leaves between two slices of
bread).
| My solution was to make my own capsules. I didn't notice any
improvement, but
| that could be because I didn't take enough of it, didn't take it for
long
| enough, or didn't use fresh (this can make a serious difference --
some of the
| volatile oils may not remain after drying).
|
| One last thought: as each migraine sufferer responds differently to
different
| drugs, so some may get more benefit from feverfew than others. ******
HOWEVER,
| before trying it, discuss it with your doctor first. If your doctor
is
| dubious, the British medical journal _Lancet_ had some of the studies
on it
| (don't have the date available). ****** I think you can find some
excerpts
| from it on the net.
|
| In many parts of the U.S., for a migraine sufferer to get relief from
fresh
| feverfew, they may have to grow it indoors.
