Hi folks! Aoife here, with some news and two requests.
First the news: I have mailed my 25th copy of the cook's badge artwork
today. I suppose that means we have a significant desire to attach a symbol
to our peers (small "p") out in public. Ragnar has cleaned up the image, and
I'm hoping he will make the color edition available to whomever wants it. I
can't since I can't read that file format. My color version is available but
a little "tired" looking. It is also available in black and white, for those
who are shy of download time. I usually send both editions, but a request
for B&W only will, of course, be honored. I am sending them out in batches
to save my time. I've got a 3 year old, so I have to watch how much keyboard
time I log.
Now, my requests.
A) Will someone please post/copy this badge artwork to a web-page and
publish the address? I have released the copyrights and put the artwork in
the public domain. I'd appreciated it if my name appears somewhere, though
(I was in such a hurry I forgot to sign it!). LADY AOIFE FINN OF YNOS MON is
how it is spelled.
B) I'm hopeless with needle and thread, so I was sort of hoping that some
really kind soul would make a badge for me to wear. I'm not really into
ostentatous ornamentation, so a little something to pin on my snood band
(like a scottish badge), or something to whip stitch onto an apron or on the
upper corner/left-chest area of a tabard or baldric would be fine. Pretty
Please? What if I grovel and beg?
Until someone makes a web-page for my critter Sally, I'll continue to e-mail
the artwork out to folks who want a copy. By the Way, what does everyone
think? Will it do? Does it need to be registered? Altered? Should we leave
it alone and get on with it?

Oh, It's a great big shame, and if she belonged to me
I'd let 'er know oo's ooooooo.
Pickin' on a feller that was six foot three,

Well they 'adn't been married but a month nor more
when underneath the thumb goes Gin!
Isn't it a pity that the likes of 'er
should put upon the likes of 'im!
