Hi all from Anne-Marie:
We are asked:

If you look at the recipe, you see:
>
> Rapes (Lentil Crisps)
> 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
> 2/3 cup almonds, skinned, slivered or ground

2/3 of a cup of skinned whole almonds will be a drastic amount different
from 2/3 of a cup slivered, and WAAAAAAY different from 2/3 of a cup ground
almonds.

I am very amazed that this was edible, based on the ingredient list (lentil
cheese balls, rolled in honey oat and cocoanut????). Learn something new
everyday.

Oh, and you know, of course, taht the cocoanut is not a medieval European
ingredient? At least I've not seen it mentioned ina single medieval Eurpean
cookbook.... I wonder what recipe this is supposed to be from?

pictures only.
