SC - galingale uses?

Greetings,

Several years ago I bought a bag of galingale seeds(?), roots(?), whatever
the hard little roundish things are. This was because, at the time, I didn't
know of a powdered galingale source. Now I have sources, some of which others
have mentioned here recently. So I don't really need to powder these I have.

Is there any use for the galingale that doesn't require grinding it?
