After extensive tests the SPCA determined that the least cruel and most humane
way to kill a lobster was to plunge it headfirst in boiling water.
Irregardless of those types of concerns, cooking an already dead lobster more
often than not results in flesh that is soft and unappetizing while use of the
live creature results in firm and succulent flesh.
