Blued segmentata update:  a correction: one of the blued segmentatas did
rust, slightly, lightly and in spots.  This segmentata was heat blued over
a forge fire using a sheet of iron to diffuse the heat in an attempt to
evenly heat the segmentata plates.  Heating was not even and the subsequent
light rusting was proof of that.  The rust was easily rubbed off. The
second segmentata was heat blued in a kitchen oven. Heating was very even
by comparison and it did not rust.  Rememebr this was after 6 hours of
wearing and fighting in the armor in a steady rain.
