Will's Revenge VII
"All for fun, fun for all"

Following up on the prodigious efforts of archers on the challenging and war-
like courses at Will's Revenge VI, the Shire of Abhain Ciach Ghlais would like
to present a more light-hearted view of archery at this year's event. All
archer's, fighters and revelers are invited to join us this year for our
traditional weekend full of FUN! As long as youconsider fun to be: four
(count-em-1, 2, 3, 4...) roving archery ranges, Royal rounds, two fighting
tourneys, , three deliscious meals, thrown weapons tourney, wonderful cabins,
with hot showers, and opportunity for horseback riding (a fee), bardic
circles, and acres of beautiful countryside to roam (if you can find the
time!). Al;l this, and maybe more, will be held once again at the beautiful
Crystal Lake Campground in Hughesville, PA (no street addres).

Roving archery ranges will be provided this year by our own Lordship Spence
Colby, members of the Shire and a guest range by Master Bleddian ab Cynin and
his talented household. We will have ample space for Royal rounds to be shot
throughtout the day on Saturday, along with novelty shoots (the Viking ship
returns!) and archery-related classes. Thrown weapons will be supervised. by
Lord Kaji-san, deputy marshal for thrown weapons in the Kingdom of
Aethelmearc. Fighting will consist of the Highlander tourney (HEAD SHOTS
ONLY!) and a melee competition (Please bring a SCAdianly useful item for the
war chest if you wish to participate in the melee.)

The feast will be prepared (once again) by Lord Ras al-Zib aand THL Thorstein
Ronnow, with space on-board for 150. Off board space in the hall is EXTREMELY
limited. Lunch on Saturday and a hearty breakfast on Sunday will also be
provided. The site is well equipped with cabins, some with individual showers.
The site is dry, and will open at 5:00 PM on Friday and close at 3:00 PM on
Sunday afternoon. Prices and directions will be forthcoming.
