In essence, Julleran, you prove Noemi's point. You haven't allowed your
child's likes or dislikes to rule your kitchen.  They eat what they want out
of what you provide, and you do not provide a dummed down menu for their sake.
 
Bravo.

A child who is a fussy eater, barring illness, is a child who has learned to
manipulate the grown-ups.  I would describe your children as decisive eaters. 
I think must fussy eaters would have been decisive, except the grown ups
didn't like their choices or feared they would starve, and so catered and
cajoled them into fussiness.
