They're basically pure sugar with a little bit of flavoring, and something
(citric acid??) to give them sourness.  I find them palatable, but not
tempting, which is why I keep a roll in my desk drawer.  They're just
right for combatting low blood sugar, and cheaper than glucose tablets.

To everything, there is a purpose... someday, we may understand the
purpose of Twinkies...
