I have Orache (Atriplex hortensis), English Mercury (Chenopodium
bonus-henricus), and Fat Hen (Chenopodium album) which I believe were all
used
as pot-herbs in the middle ages. Apart from brewing and salad recipes, does
anyone have a recipe that uses any of these 3 fine plants?

Drake Morgan.

Not off the top of my head, I'm afraid--but would you care to share your
seed source for the latter two? Orach is easy to find the seed for, although I
have *yet* to get the silly stuff to actually grow! I keep reading blurbs
about it "readily re-sowing" with a jaundiced glare........... ;-)
