Yep.  Madeline Pelner Cosman's OTHER book.  Even from this brief description I know it.

I had to sit a friend down and very delicately explain to her just exactly why these "medieval" recipes wouldn't work for her Masqued Ball.  She was horribly upset and she still doesn't really believe me.  Thank Heavens she let me have my own way in the kitchen...
