Well the house we have found is the answer to 25 years of SCA dreams.
Almost an acre of yard (aside from the ground where the house and garage
and greenhouse stand).  Red sandstone (like the Smithsonian castle).  More
bedrooms than you can easily count.  More built in bookshelves than we
have books (and that is REALLY a lot - we have over 10,000).  Two dining
rooms.  Fantastic kitchen, pantries (plural), commercial stove.

The sad part, is realizinig that now that we are actually in a position to
think about buying the house of our dreams the dreams have changed to
include handicapped rails in the bathrooms, minimal yard work, and friends
and children spread all over the world so they never all drop by for huge
parties.

sigh.  will the commune care for us in our old age?
