SC - jam?

We have discussed both fruit and meat jellies on this list. It appears that
jams tended to be earlier than jellies due to the latter's higher sugar
content. It also appears that either jams or jellies were late in period
and probably would not be considered medieval dishes due to the amount of
sugar required.
