Hmmm. . .specific culinary resources in my region. . .

Well the biggest one is wild game.  Elk, pronghorn antelope, mule deer, white
tail deer, and others I can't think of because my in-laws don't hunt them.
Brook, cut-throat and rainbow trout.  Annual 4-H auctions of livestock after
the fair.  Lots of local beef.  A new innovation, ranch raised buffalo.  Being
close to Colorado which has had a recent upsurge in small wineries which have
some fantastic wines, as well as one meadery.
