Do you wish a sweet castle of sugars or one made of other foods? Depending upon
which you are looking for, one or more of these files in my Florilegium might
be of use:

In the FOOD section:
illusion-fds-msg (79K) 8/28/98 Medieval illusion foods. Diguised food.
Warners-art (32K) 6/29/98 An article on disguised food.
                                       by Alizaunde, Demoiselle de Bregeuf.

I'm not sure if either of these has castles specifically, but some of the
ideas described might be useful or spur some other ideas.

In the FOOD-SWEET section:
gingerbread-msg (31K) 10/28/97 Medieval gingerbread. Recipes.
Roses-a-Sugar-art (21K) 7/15/98 "Divers Pretty Things Made Of Roses &
Sugar"
by Mistress Renata Kestryl of Highwynds.
sotelties-msg (105K) 6/30/98 Sotelties and Warners - decorated food.
sugar-paste-msg (62K) 7/16/98 Making sugar paste sotelties.
Sugarplums-art (19K) 7/15/98 "Visions of Sugarplums" by Mistress
                                       Renata Kestryl of Highwynds.
