SC - Eggs in Pizza

A thought that occurs to me is that pizza may have been  derived from a Middle
Eastern source originally. Many of the recipes in the Baghdad cokkery book
call for the breaking of eggs over the dish in the final steps. There are also
certain dishes oroginating in Greece that show a similar finish.

Just a thought.
