There _is_ no single appropriate thing. There is no best answer, and there are no
points taken off for spelling.

What I originally suggested was to say something very much like that. "Truly these are
not like the beans I know from my homeland, but one of the local goodman farmers tells
me they are flavorful and do not engender overmuch wind", etc. etc.
