SC - RE: SCA Cooks - Cooking Safety (was Licensing)

Since there good arguments on both sides of this issue, may I suggest a
compromise?  What about promoting a basic SCA cooking safety class?  This
could serve a two-fold purpose.  First,  it would educate not only potential
Feast Stewards but also those who only cook for their household encampment.
Second, it would serve as another way for people who are very new or shy to
get some idea what goes on in the kitchen and give them encouragement to
volunteer.
