SC - Feast profits?

Before I get on the soapbox, I have a question for those of you in the
magnificent Kingdom of Ansteorra. Our group in El Paso has been asked to
make sure their advertisements are worded non-profit, not "not for
profit". I checked our articles of incorporation, and indeed it does
list us as non profit. They were told that even though our tax exempt
status allows the organization to make a profit, if they advertise with
the wrong wording, they can be in trouble. Any legal eagles out there
care to take a swing?

As far as making a profit on an event, it is perfectly legal, and
encouraged in our Kingdom. Most of the groups rely on their events, and
specifically the feasts, to make that profit. It might be the
demographics, or just custom, but our events are financially separated
with site and feast fees, and almost always require feast reservations.
There are not a lot of groups in the Outlands who could afford to simply
cook for the amount the hall will seat, and hope people come. There was
an earlier discussion on the list about this subject.
