SC - cooking in primative conditions

Lord Gavinn was looking for a period feast that could be prepared over a 
fire. Actually, "in period" pretty well everything was done this way. I 
suspect this means you won't have an oven, so baking is tricky. But spit 
roasts, soups and stews, fried and boiled pastries, grilled fish, and 
many other things lend themselves to it admirably.

Of course if you have the time, an oven can be made as well...
