Because Christ's death and resurrection took place in conjunction with
the Jewish festival of Passover, which is in the spring. As the lamb's
blood over the doorframe saved the firstborn from death, so Christ's
blood (Lamb of God) saves us from eternal death.

who has problems with using rebirth for resurrection, but conchobar's
