SC - Cookie cutter cookie dough....

OK - So I broke rule number #1.

I've now checked it and found a lot of cutter recipes.  (Gotta go buy 
some almonds!)

Any advice on which one's will work with a complex shape the best?

I'm still not finding anything about icing/frosting or colored 
frostings.  Thoughts?
