Well, the bible gives a framework for Easter by dating it from Passover, but
then again, it gives a time frame for Jesus' birth as lambing season (hence the
sheep out in the far fields) and we celebrate it in the wrong month because we
integrated some other religions in while we were trying to convert people.  We
also have a dating for Jesus' birth as during the reign of Tiberius who died
around 5 BC (setting his birth at 6-7 BC)....shame we don't pay more attention
to details.
