SC - I need some advice and dessert recipes

Because I have set up the menu to avoid the "obvious" faux pas' of bringing
really OOP foodstuffs , I have had to come up with a menu pretty darn
quick. In my original posting I said that it was going to be period and
perioid-like.

I understand completely and agree with what you are saying in respect to
sources and making sure we don't confuse people with what is, or what
isn't, period and documentable. I would never presume to try to pass off
something that is questionable as period or documentable. My whole
endeavour here is to spawn some interest in cooking and then possibly ease
into the "other" side of our craft with the ones who have become interested
in learning more.

So while I have no qualms about using Fabulous Feasts for this type of Pot
Luck I would never use it for a completely and documentable feast. That is
why I don't dismiss this book out of hand.

As well, I plan on documenting all the menu items that are documentable,
thus ensuring that this type of confusion you are citing, doesn't happen.
