SC - I need a recipe......PLEASE!!!

Hi all,

  I'm back and cooking already.  The next feast is Camel Feast which is
Middle Eastern themed and I've been asked to prepare a sweet dish that is
NOT Leche Lumbard (That's being prepared by someone else.)  I've looked all
over the place, but all of them seems to call for sugar thermometers and
all that stuff which I don't have.  Does anyone have a recipe they can
Email me and help me out of a sweet and sticky situation?
