Wouldn't you interpret the "yleched" as meaning that it is solid enough to
be sliced as implying that it is solid enough to be sliced, hence more like
an omelet than scrambled eggs?

How do you get *sliced* from *yleched*? Although this does seem likely.
Is this a standard predecessor or variation for the word *sliced*?

I think more telling is the *And turne hit in the panne onys or twies*
as that sounds more like turning an omelete than scrambling eggs to me.
I scramble eggs more or less continuously rather than turning them
once or twice.
