Okay folks,

Let's get our noses out of the computer screens, sit back and think! I have no
problems with the discussions of basic brewing, distilling, cordial-making,
copyright laws etc... This is a list for historical cooks. Now most of us also
play with brewing, mead-making, cordials, fire building, oven making, on and on.
All of this is fine. The problem occurred when a distilling thread became an
argument over technicalities that were beyond 90% of the people on the list. At
that point I asked the discussion be moved to an area more appropriate.

General discussions of topics outside the immediate realm of cooking is welcome
as long as it doesn't become too tedious or technical to the majority of the list.

Discussions of cordial recipes are more than welcome because many of the people
on this list have either made cordials or are interested in them.

Let's use simple logic. Okay?

Yers,
