quadrupeds.  No details are given on how the critter is to be prepared.

Oh no! Someone has documented it now...!
As for the other half of the argument I looked it up to cure my own
curiousity, and hedghogs are related to voles and moles- not groundhogs *or*
porcupines, and eat mostly bugs.
I think I'll stick to the sausage sotelties rather than commit heresy against
my namesake...
