SC - Purposes of this list

His Holiness Poppa G asked us to use simple logic in determining when we 
could discuss distilling, etc on this list.

But I propose to use a more medieval system. There is a document 
somewhere which says what the list is about. Most of us can't read it, 
but are expected to live our entire lives by its dictates and their 
implications. And Poppa Gunthar has the power to cast us into eternal 
damnation should we stray too far, or to grant us absolution if we only 
stray a little, then confess and are repentant.

(There is a serious point in here, but it would mean letting Gunthar know 
that we expect him to keep playing evil overlord, and I am not sure that 
he really wants to think of himself as doing that.)
