The ingredients are used within the period of the SCA.  They might not have
been combined the way they are in your recipe, but that is not the criteria
being judged.

If you don't mind posting it, I'd like to see the recipe.

>From hazy memory, baking soda and baking powder are 19th Century.  Baking
soda, sodium bicarbonate, was in use first and requires an acidic solution
to trigger the aeration.  Baking powder is a mixture of baking soda, starch
and a third compound, such as cream of tartar, which forms a weak acid when
it dissolves.
