big a deal to skip a day of milking.  Milk is produced to nournish a mammal's

Also, nowdays milk cows have been bred to produce super quantities of milk-
not milking them everyday could harm the beast or it's production, but I would
bet that in period, milk cows produced a lot less milk and were probably not
used to being hooked up to the machine at 5am and pm everyday!
