I happened to have the document on my desk from which the timeline of
sources was extracted. I'm collecting references to primary sources
from Antiquity to 1850, along with notes about availability,
translations, etc. I'm not very far into the project, about 70 sources
and 8 pages, and it is very incomplete (I don't even have the Harleian
manuscripts listed). I add a few notes or sources each week. The
project is in lieu of truly time-consuming serious research.

I started this little project because I wanted a visual representation
of the temporal relationship between primary source. I decided to add
notes and translation information to make it more useful. I doubt if
I'll take it beyond 1850. Too much work, too little profit.
