Yes, I do lurk, but my free time is spent in loving care of my Barony. Who this
weekend had it's newest Canton Bryn-a-mor, host it's first annual Stag, Bear and Boar
hunt. The weekend was delightfull, with the defeated, hunter and hunted alike, in
the hunt being drenched by the Hounds (anyone not able to hunt) with summer dinning
under the open sided pavillion. The cook was the lady Ellen, who with the aid of 5
children aged 9 - 15, cooked a beautfully period 2 remove dinner, including spit
roasted rabbit, vension & cornish hen pies, salmon mold, (all of which were killed
for the event from
neighboring farms) lots of vegies in different forms and cheese & fresh fruits
platters, apple pie......Hum.... still full. All this as I said done with her 5
little helpers in a kitchen with one hot plate, a spit roast out the back door and
one small oven. All served by the 5 helpers and their friends 7 other little ones
ages 5 - 11. Huzzahs were very long and loud.

The thunder storm was a delight to all but the campers. Well, they were to FULL to
notice anyway. Anyone tried of the snow and cold could come down here and visit us
during the this our warmest time of the year.

And Charles, I am still waiting for an invite.
