Ok. I can't send you scribbles or spec drawings yet, but I can, I think
talk you through one.
Make a non-inflammable base, circular and about 50% larger than you want
the oven (in diameter). Above that, build an equal diameter of bricks,
leaving the outside round but squaring off the inside with a shelf about 1
foot or so off the ground.. On both levels, leave 1/4 of the diameter
open, for entry for firestuff and food. On the back or side of the bottom
layer, misplace a brick end-wise, so you have a draft on the bottom layer,
which is the firepit. Continue to build up above the shelf layer in a
circular pattern until it looks like a traditional bee-hive, leaving a bit
of room for brick shelving for support of upper level cooking plates.

>From the front it should look something like this:

                           A A
                     A A
                 A A
               AAA AAA
               A A
               A A

Setting 2 metal doors in front, the bottom one hinged off the plate you
put on the shelf, will keep the heat in. Regulating the fire and the air
hole controls the temperature. If the doors and shelf-plate are removable,
you can take them in out of the rain between events. Putting welded handles
on them simplifies opening considerably.

: Yes and yes. I'm a Navy engineer, I can do anything with nothing, and do
: since Reagan retired, but I do need drawings, or at least scribbles.
