I don't know about distilled mead- but my family "drink of choice"
is this stuff called "Calvados". It is a brandy made by distilling
apple cider, instead of wine. Wonderful stuff.... I am not sure
if it is French or german...It was a favorite of my German Great-
Grandfather!
